Turk girls triumph over Granite Falls

Sultan Turk #10, junior Rachel Kirkpatrick, and #12, freshman Claudia Hubbard defend the net during the Turks’ win over Granite Falls, 3 – 1 last Tuesday at home. Granite Falls ran a fast eight points in the opening of the deciding fifth game, but the Turks rallied to win the game and the match with consistent scoring in the closing minutes. “You had great passes and fantastic hits,” Coach Whitmire-Skeith told her players. “Remember this feeling and continue it.”
