Sultan loses on soaking night at home
Sultan Turk quarterback junior Antonio Rivas looks downfield for senior Steve Branham for the Turk’s only high point, a 22-yard touchdown strike, in their loss to Archbishop Murphy, 34 – 7, in a rain-soaked home game on Friday evening. In the first rain game this season, the Turks rushed for only 61 yards in 27 carries, giving up 360 rushing yards to Murphy. Murphy dominated with nearly 30 minutes of possession in the game with the slippery Turks fumbling the snap from center seven times, losing one to the Wildcats.
