Farm Festival informative and fun

We attended the Sky Valley Farm Festival Oct. 13. It was an awesome experience.

Starting out at Stocking’s Produce Stand, they had chefs cooking different fresh food. The pear and squash soup was great. Many sizes of pumpkins were available. Two tractors with covered hay wagons gave us rides to different farms. It was neat watching the little children try and pet baby pigs, ride a kiddie tractor, or watch a video of a cow giving birth.

This farm festival was free to all – if you missed it this year, I hope it will be here next year – people need to realize that without the farmer there would be NO food.

We met lovely farm friendly families and they all live and work in our Valley… To be so thankful for all of them…
