Food Day marries art and food at Fryelands Elementary

Jakiri Jackson, a student at Fryelands Elementary, holds a food sculpture he made during the school’s Food Day, part of a nationwide celebration of healthy, affordable and sustainable food. Kids got to see cooking demonstrations, win prizes and see a food art show.
