The Monroe Historical Society invites the community to a holiday open house Thursday, Dec. 6 at 6:30 p.m. at the museum, 207 E. Main St.
The community is invited to enjoy refreshments, tour the museum and find out who won the society’s annual quilt raffle. The winning ticket will be drawn that night.
Several new exhibits are on display at the museum, including “Dirt Track Days: Sky Valley Racing Association, 1957-1977” commemorating the history of auto racing in Monroe.
The museum’s regular exhibits feature a dugout canoe from the local Tulalip Tribe and the safe from the Monroe First National Bank on Main Street.
