Jessica Olsen of Monroe, a pre-med student at Northwest University, has won the Gold Award, the highest award given by the Girl Scouts, for her efforts to create and collect 105 quilts and five incubator covers for premature infants at Seattle Children’s Hospital.
Olsen undertook that task because she herself was born one of premature triplets.
Seattle Children’s Hospital was very glad to get the quilts, according to friends.
