Turks rack up 23-point final quarter to trounce Granite Falls

Sultan Turk team leader, senior Brock VandenEkart flies for two of his game-leading 33 points in the Turks’ nail-biting win over Granite Falls on Friday. The hard-pressed Turks clutched at a 38 – 36 lead at the start of the fourth quarter. In the final minutes the Turks burst into a scoring machine, outpacing GF, 23 – 7, as VandenEkart drilled 13 of his 33 points. The final score was 61 – 35, Turks.
