Winter’s winners

Last week the winners of the Sultan Christmas Light Contest were announced, with the victors each bagging $25 in Chamber Bucks.

The holiday champs were Shaun and Melissa Carr, who won Best Lit House for their Amberwood Circle home. The Logger’s Inn was the winner in the business category, and Larry and Karen Kays won the People’s Choice Award, decided by public vote, for their 8th Street display.

The other prizes were awarded by a kids’ team made up of Amanda McKay of Sultan Elementary School, Emilee Buzzel from Sultan Middle School, Lalia Gonzalez from Sultan High School, and Genvieve Zoch of Sky Valley Options.
