Sultan High School recognizes Students of the Week

The following students have been recognized as Students of the Week for being positive role models and displaying leadership quailities:

September 17: Jose’ Garcia. Jose’ is a Link Leader and a member of the cheer team who shows leadership, a willingness to do what is needed and a positive attitude.

September 24:  Makayla McNaughton and Jazmine Morgan for being Co-Turks of the Week. Makayla and Jazmine decided to move from the table where they were sitting with friends to sit with someone new to Sultan High School and make her feel welcome.

October 1: Hank Sherman. Hank invited a student who was standing alone at an assembly to sit with him and made him feel welcome.

October 8: Lalia Gonzalez. Lalia is a solid student in the classroom, has a friendly personality and provides leadership all around campus, as well as with her team.

October 22: Daniel Erickson. Daniel has made great personal strides this year by working hard in class, participating in discussions, helping other students, being respectful, and providing good leadership for others.

October 29: Luis Maldonado. Luis goes far out of his way to be kind to everyone around him. He does not wait to be asked, and he often does not ask permission to help. He holds doors for people who need it, whether it is due to an injury or a heavy load. He has a smile and a positive, can-do attitude.
