New upgrades reveal old town sight

A renovation of a building on Main Street revealed a bit of history when the old siding was removed and exposed an older wall.
About three months ago, a new owner bought the building at the corner of Main and Blakeley Streets, formerly occupied by M&M Antiques, and is doing structural repairs.
Last week, the wall of a store called Lon’s emerged from beneath the more recent siding, and the new owner was excited by the find.
“We are going to try to save it and restore it somehow; it would be awesome,” said Dan Vidican, with Trinity Building Group.
The new tenant will be a computer service company, specializing in data recovery.
