Senior night made special by wrestlers’ continued winning streak

Turk senior Jack Boyd, in the 160-pound class, presses Archbishop Murphy’s Andrew Schafer into the mat to win with a pin the in Turks’ dominating 60 – 12 victory, to remain undefeated and wrap up the Cascade Conference title on Thursday at home in front of a cheering crowd.

Turk families and friends celebrated Senior Night with seniors James Boglivi, Jack Boyd, Jason Barrus and Jake Naslund all scoring pins. Underclassmen Taylor Comfort, Hunter Sather, and Ryan Sharp also won with pins. All the Turk seniors were feted including team manager Jennifer Risken and wrestlers Jacob Naslund, Bryce MacDicken, James Boglivi, Jason Barrus, Hank Sherman and Jack Boyd.

The Turks host and compete at Sultan High School on Feb. 1 and 2 at the District 1 and 2 Sub-Regionals.
