Turk girls make playoffs

Sultan Turk junior, 5’6″ Jessica Hopkins jams for two of her game-high 10 points in the Turks’ nail-biter victory, 33 – 31, over South Whidbey Island Friday. The Turks were held to 12 points in the first half, but got their arms around the game in the fourth period with a sticky defense and good shooting. Senior Cyd Batts scored 7 points and grabbed 7 rebounds to help advance the Turks to the first round playoffs.
