In case you didn’t know, Dave left us in an advanced scouting party to check out the last great adventure! I trust he will mark the path well and that we will one way or another meet again to continue our laughing, loving and learning from each other. Rest in Peace, Son, only for a moment, then put in a good word for the “old man.” See ya later!!
David Paul Jones, 1975 graduate of Monroe High School, died unexpectedly on January 17, 2013.
David was born April 6, 1957 in Tooele, Utah. He served in the US Navy as a corpsman for four years.
David leaves his wife Colleen, daughter Anjanae, and son Logan; brothers Mark and Donny Jones; sisters Marci Dedomenico, Heidi Jones and Stacy Jones; and his parents Irv and Ronda Jones, of Monroe. He was especially
proud of his children and the love of his life, Colleen.
David loved being the elder brother and enjoyed the Seahawks and anything to do with sports. His enjoyment of life and the laughter he brought with him will be missed, as well as the ability to listen to his many friends and offer a helping hand. He will be missed by all of us.
What a reunion he is having with loved ones who have gone before!!! As Dave would say “See ya later!”
Memorial Services will be held at the Radisson Hotel on International Blvd. in SeaTac on Feb. 9 from 1:00 to 4:00. This will be a celebration of Dave’s life.

It wasn’t until I read this that I realized how much I missed Dave. I haven’t seen him in years (except the latest class reunion), but he always made you feel like a real friend.
I can’t imagine the thought of losing a child, how painful it must be. But after reading these wonderful words a father can say to his son puts all things in perspective.
I live in Arizona now so I won’t be attending the services. But know that I am there in spirit and will be thinking of you all on Saturday.

Dave was a good friend and a good man and I will miss him very much. I will especially miss his smile, his laugh and his voice. He was always so good to me and I loved him very much. I am so very sorry for his loved ones and wish them the peace that only the Lord can give. Myself and many others will be at his memorial to pay our respects to his family. He may be gone but he will never be forgotten.
