National Make-A-Blanket Day Feb. 16

Project Linus is sponsoring a special quilting event in conjunction with National Make-A-Blanket Day on Saturday, Feb. 16 at Zion Lutheran Parish Hall, 330 Union, Snohomish, between noon and 5 p.m.

Help make quilts and blankets to be donated to kids who have experienced traumatic life events in Snohomish County. Materials and equipment will be provided. No experience is necessary, but sewers are encouraged to bring their own sewing machine. Volunteers are needed to help sew, iron, inspect, pin, fringe and tie. Donations of fabric, sewing supplies and completed blankets are also welcome.
