Monroe Christian School will host a scrap metal drive through Schnitzer Steel on Saturday, April 13 and 20, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30p.m. at the school, located at 1009 W. Main St. in Monroe.
Scrap metal being accepted includes, but is not limited to, old nails and screws, broken stoves, rusted lawnmowers, dented kitchen sinks, copper plumbing, brass light fixtures, old vehicles, copper wiring, tin cans, aluminum cans and car parts. No piece is too small, save it all!
