Dr. Doyle and Mr. Holmes: The Cultural Staying Power of Sherlock Holmes: Wednesday, May 22, 6:30 p.m. Seattle Times arts journalist Tom Keogh will discuss Sherlock Holmes, his creation by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and why we, as a culture, remain so attached to a character invented in 1886.
