The City of Monroe and Camp Fire of Snohomish County have partnered together to offer the following classes for kids:
Saturday, June 1 and 8, 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.; or
Saturday, Nov. 16 and 23, 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
This course is for 10 to 14 year olds. The cost is $30.00.
This class teaches youngsters many different skills such as making healthy snacks, answering telephone calls from strangers, handling emergencies, escaping from fires, plus much more.
Tuesdays and Thursdays (six one-hour sessions), November 5,7,12,14,19 and 21, 5 to 6 p.m.
This course is for children in grades 2-3. min.
All courses held in the Parks/Public Works building, Camp Riley Room, at 769 Village Way, Monroe.
