Monroe’s annual Fair Days Parade just got a significant new source of financial support when Providence Medical Building Monroe stepped up as the title sponsor of the event.
“We are very pleased to be the lead sponsor for the Monroe Fair Days Parade,” said Cheri Russum, spokesperson for the medical organization, which is currently constructing a $20 million clinic on property on North Kelsey in Monroe.
“Providence’s physicians have been practicing in the Monroe community for decades,” she said. ‘Many of our caregivers already participate in community events such as Relay for Life, providing sports physicals, the Inside Out Organ Show and other health care promotions in the greater Sky Valley area. So with the opening of our new Providence Medical Building Monroe in October, we wanted to do something in a big way to support the Monroe community.”
The organization will also have an entry in the parade.
“We look forward to their participation in the parade and can’t wait to know more about their entry this year,” said Annique Bennett of the Monroe Chamber of Commerce, organizer of the annual parade. “It sounds very entertaining.”
She said that the chamber is pleased to have the medical organization’s support.
Another major new sponsor is Promociones Nayarit, a local Mexican festival and jaripeo promotions company.
