Lake Tye Triathlon includes sprint, Olympic lengths

he first competitor out of the water and onto his bike was Jason Morgan, age 44. Morgan came into the Lake Tye Triathlon ranked #1 in the 40-44 age group. Morgan went on to finish 27th overall, with a time of 2:42:26.4. The Olympic class was won by Roger Marckel, 51, with a time of 2:19:04. Marckel was ranked 4th in the 50-53 age group. Olympic distance triathlons include a 1,500 meter swim, a 28-mile bike ride and a 6.2 mile run.
