A house next door to long-time Monroe charity Matthew House burned down Saturday as a result, investigators believe, of faulty wiring in the kitchen.
The fire was reported at 11:14 a.m.in the 16200 block of 177th Ave. SE. When firefighters arrived, the house was fully engulfed in flame.
About six people were living at the home.
No human injuries were reported, but a dog perished in the fire.
