Nancy Louise (Johnson) Beal, 62, of Gold Bar passed away on Saturday, June 7 at her home. She was taken from us far too soon.
Nancy was born to Leon and Virginia Johnson on February 20, 1952 in Oakland, CA. Nancy grew up in California and graduated from Washington High School in 1970. She met and fell in love with her soul mate, Ron Beal, and the two of them took on the world together. Over the years they moved their home, living in Pocatello, Idaho; Everett; Whidbey Island and for the past several years in Gold Bar. Nancy worked for years with John L Scott Realty on both Whidbey Island and in Monroe, and in the past few years with Grocery Outlet. She retired in December of last year and sadly did not get to enjoy much of the reward for all those years of hard work.
Nancy is preceded in death by her parents and her beloved grandparents Mae and “Cheech” Lewis. She is survived by her husband, Ron, and five children: Paula (Herk) Sturdevent (CA), Tracie (Phil) Martinez (CA), Tim Beal (Marysville), Jim (Ronna) Beal (Mill Creek) and Patty Beal (Marysville); 11 grandchildren and two great grandchildren; her brothers David (Teri) Johnson, Ronald (Lisa) Humphrey and Thomas Humphrey, as well as many nephews and nieces. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances can be made to the Polio Survivors Foundation at www.polioassociation.org
