Monroe cops wants to bust window-smashing vandal
Since November, there have been more than 30 reports of damage to windows of vehicles that are parked on the street, the Monroe Police Department announced last week. "It's not like it's in a small area," said Monroe Police Public Informaiton Officer Debbie Willis last Tuesday. "It's all over." The incidents happen in clusters, she said, with dozens of cars hit in short sprees.Read story

Monroe Police Chief Quenzer to take on administrator's job for now
Monroe Chief of Police Tim Quenzer was temporarily given the job of city administrator by the Monroe City Council Tuesday, following the city's dismissal of City Administrator Jim Southworth effective Jan. 1. He will hold the post until another full time administrator can be found. Read story
