Two teens start Miracle League for bowling

Monroe triumphs over Snohomish in boy’s basketball play

MONROE'S TIM OHLSEN drives to the basket over
Snohomish’s Brian Wolfe in a low-scoring battle that
came down to the final 10 seconds of the game as
the Bearcats edged the Panthers 35-29 Friday
night. Monroe held the Panthers to just six first-
half points. The Snohomish team, which trailed
the entire game, drew within two points in the
waning seconds before Monroe’s Alex Churlin
and Tim Ohlsen hit the final four free throws of
the game.
