COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT NOTICE OF ISSUANCE OF FINAL SUPPLEMENTAL ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT STATEMENT

PURSUANT TO WAC 197-11-460 and 197-11-510, the City of Monroe hereby announces that on April 15, 2008 the Final Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement (FSEIS) has been issued for the City of Monroe Downtown Master Plan (Plan) and Design Guidelines. The Final Supplemental EIS and Plan are two separate documents. The documents describe and evaluate preferred land use alternatives, circulation and parking proposals, urban design standards, and a historic preservation program for the historic commercial and residential area of Monroe. The plan includes recommended implementation strategies and possible funding sources.

This FSEIS is issued under WAC 197-11-460. There is no comment period provided for this FSEIS. Copies of the FSEIS document are available for public review and purchase during regular business hours at the City of Monroe City Hall, 806 W. Main Street, Monroe WA 98272, and on line at www.ci.monroe.wa.us.
