Sultan man found dead in home

By ALISON INGHAM, INTERN

A 49-year-old Sultan man was found dead in his home on Thursday, June 26, and detectives are investigating the incident as a suspicious death. The man lived in the 12800 block of 311th Avenue S.E. with an unrelated woman and her mother, according to Rebecca Hover, the public information officer for the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office.

The woman arrived home at about 6 a.m. Thursday to find the man dead, and police were at the home all day and well into the night investigating the scene. According to Hover, neighbors were questioned to learn more about the man, and the body was finally removed late Thursday night.
The medical examiner has yet to make a ruling on the cause and manner of death or to release the man’s identity.
