Flibbix! Monroe student and family
invent top-ranking game


You get to make the playing board and write the rules to suit yourself. Who could resist a game like that? Not the Washington Post. Of 90 games tested by the newspaper this year, Flibbix, a game invented by a Duvall family with a son in Monroe’s Sky Valley Education Center, was named the number one game of 2008.

“Every year, we ask second- through sixth-graders
to test about 80 toys before the holiday toy
season,” the story read. “We ask them
to tell us what they like best, and they
always have thoughtful responses.
