Sultan narrows chief search to one
The City of Sultan has narrowed the search for a new chief of police to one candidate; Charles Dennis, 44, currently an under sheriff in Bonner's Ferry, Idaho. Dennis was one of two candidates to appear at a recent event at which Sultan resident were given the opportunity to meet them. Lee Reed, 42, of Asotin, Wash., remains the number two candidate for the position. See page A-1
