Have you ever wanted to sing the National Anthem before a sporting event? The Snohomish County Explosion is giving you that chance.
The first annual Snohomish County Explosion Idol Competition will be held at the Rock Church on Saturday, Feb. 16, from noon to 5 p.m. Registration will begin at 11 am.
A panel of judges will decide who will show off their vocal talents prior to an Explosion game this spring.
There is no fee to enter the competition, however, donations
will be accepted to support the Explosion Dance Team directed by Sky Valley Academy.
For an application form, visit www.ExplosionBasketball.net and click on the link for the Explosion Idol Application. Completed applications can be faxed to (425) 645-8158, or mailed to Snohomish County Explosion, 333 W. Main St., Monroe, WA 98272.
Applications will also be accepted the day of the event.Audition order will be based on when applications are received.
